Rock Mesh M2000 and M4000 are used as a drapery system to prevent rockfall and debris from falling onto roads, railways or where there is a possibility of loss of property or life.
Rock Mesh M is a woven composite product made of steel wire and metallic ropes woven together during the production of the hexagonal double twisted wire mesh. It is used as a passive drapery system that guides the fall of the rock to a trench. The steel ropes are inserted longitudinally during the fabrication of the mesh.
The Rock Mesh M2000 has three steel cables inserted, two on the edges to increase and one in the center. The two edges of the steel rope allow for a stronger connection with the adjacent units. The Rock Mesh M4000 has 2 steel ropes inserted at the edges during the manufacturing.
